The Messengers in Concert
The Messengers from First Baptist Church in Gorman, TX will be here May 4th and will be doing a full concert event in both the Early and Late Morning Services.
All are encouraged to come and be a part of this amazing worship experience and also to invite friends and family to come for an amazing time of worship and also an amazing time of fellowship.
Spaghetti Dinner and Bake Auction
Following the Messengers concert in both morning worship services on the morning of May 4th, our youth at Southside will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner and Bake Auction fundraiser to continue their efforts to raise funds for Centrifuge and Mfuge camps this summer, please join us for a time of food, fellowship, and fun as we join together for worship with messengers and fellowship with each other.
MHS Class of 2008 Recognition Service
Five 2008 high school graduations will be honored in the 11:00 AM Worship Service on Sunday, May 18, 2008 in the Main Sanctuary located on 15th and Alice Streets.
The Students recognized from Monahans High School will include Aaron Forest (Son of Don and April Forest), Cameron Lynch (Son of Shane and Leeca Lynch), Adam Steen (Son of Alan and Jill Steen), and Jake Wallace (Son of Gary and Jana Wallace). Elizabeth Santiago (daughter of the late Daniel and Maria Santiago) will be graduating from Grandfalls-Royalty High School.
The seniors and their families will be recognized in the 11:00 worship service in the sanctuary and a noon meal will be held in their honor at the Southside Activities Center following the worship service. Family and friends are invited and encouraged to attend and offer best wishes and congratulations to these hard working students.
Baccalaureate Services
Evening services on May 25th will be cancelled so that church members may attend the baccalaureate services to be held at the Monahans High School Auditorium.
