SSBC exists to bring glory to God through focusing on all we do on the Gospel, the good news of the person and work of Jesus, the Son of God.

Simply put, we strive to make the Gospel central to everything we do.  From teaching in Scripture, to Gospel-centered worship, to every ministry we offer, it's all because of the person and work of Jesus that it is possible, and so we do all things to bring Him glory. Because He first loved us, we look to saturate our community with the Gospel, and serve all we come in contact with to show everyone the same love with which he loved us.

We want to welcome you to SSBC, and we want you to know that by no means are we perfect people, but we serve a perfect God, come join us!

This year's VBS is all about discovering the amazing ways God is at work in the world up close and magnified! Kids will enjoy Bible stories, music, games, and more as they explore God's love in a BIG way.

Awana Clubs

What is AWANA? AWANA is a place where kids spend time learning and worshipping through games, songs, stories and study during the week on Wed. nights. It is an opportunity for children ages 3 and up to come and learn about the character and nature of God. The material for AWANA is centered solely on the Gospel and give children the chance to learn how God is evident in all areas of their lives, and to show them the Jesus of the Gospel and His love for them. We want to develop in them a passion for following Jesus both in good times and in bad. Our hope is that as they walk away from Awana on a Wednesday night, they will understand the depth of the love of God, the forgiveness of their sin through Jesus' sacrifice, and the opportunity they have to impact the world they live in, YES even at their age making much of Jesus.

Awanas meets on Wednesday nights at 6:00 P.M and runs til 7:30 P.M. If you're visiting for the first time, you will need to fill out a registration card to receive their materials and then feel free to head into the main Worship Center for MidWeek (our MidWeek worship at SSBC) to worship with us in glorifying God through music and diving into Scripture. If you have children that are nursery age, feel free to drop them off in the nursery and then join us!

Adult Bible Study

Join us every Wednesday  night at 6:00 p.m. for our Prayer Group and Adult Bible Study. We begin with a time of prayer, lifting up the needs of our church, community, and one another. This is followed by an engaging and thoughtful Bible study. All are welcome.
